Recently, some of you asked about my Master's prayer in front of the Patriarch's altar asking to teach Wing Chun Kung Fu to Ms. Nguyen Thi Van (as I wrote in "Second open letter”).

“Dear Master Dat Ma

Dear Master Nguyen Te Cong

My name is Tran Thuc Tien, born in the year of the Pig, 66 years old this year. I accepted a student, Nguyen Thi Bich Van, born in the year of the Snake on February 9, at 107 Yen Phu street.

Students came to study from July 12, At Mao year.

The disciple saw that the disciple had good morals, and the disciple also accepted the disciple as a servant girl in front of the disciple's Ancestor altar.

Now, I ask for permission from the Patriarch and Master, I will devote all my energy, enthusiasm, and wholeheartedly to train the disciples in the methods of the Wing Chun sect, so that the disciples are worthy to succeed the Wing Chun sect.

Today, November 12, year of the Dragon, that is January 1, 1977, at 5:00 p.m., at disciple Nguyen Thi Bich Van's house at 107 Yen Phu street, the wooden hand building ceremony was held.

After the Lunar New Year (1977), doctor Nguyen Khac Vien invited my master to participate in a film about nutrition.

Near the end of 1977, my master regained his health.
