I. BASIC INFORMATION:

Vinh Xuan Ngo Gia Dojo was established by decision: QD-01 Hanoi Martial Arts Association dated January 4, 2007.

Dojo opening ceremony:

Currently the dojo operates at two locations:

  1. Hoa Sen Experimental Kindergarten - Ngoc Khanh Street, Giang Vo, Hanoi.
  2. Residential Club No. 4. Hoa Binh Automobile Factory Collective, No. 64, Group 34, Trieu Khuc, Thanh Xuan, Hanoi.

I would like to introduce some of the origin and organization of Vinh Xuan Duong Ngo Gia.

The person who spread Wing Chun martial arts in Vietnam is master Nguyen Te Cong.

According to martial arts master Ngo Sy Quy, this Chinese son, Gansu Cuong, studied with master Te Cong.

Teacher Ngo Sy Quy was born in 1922 into an academic family (my grandfather was a Doctor) and my father was a district governor.

In early 1950, Mr. Quy and the first group of Vietnamese cadets went to the Que Lam campus and worked as music teachers.

In addition to Master Ngo Sy Quy's family, Master Te Cong taught a number of other people such as the late master Tran Thuc Tien, the late master Tran Van Phung, and the late master Vu Ba Quy.

Mr. Tran Thuc Tien's students include: Nguyen Manh Nham, Nguyen Van Le, Phan Duong Binh, Nguyen Xuan Thi, Tran Le Mai Nguyen, Nguyen Bich Van, Ly Tu Phuong, A Denh (Dinh), Nguyen Ngoc Noi and

Mr. Ngo Sy Quy's students include: Bui Chuong, Nguyen Nam Vinh, Duong Quoc Tuan, Tran Chi Bao, Dinh Diep Hoa, Nguyen Thi Minh, Nguyen Hong Duong, Anh Trung, Anh Nguyen, Anh Toan, etc.

Mr. Tran Van Phung's students include brothers: Do Tuan, Mr. Dinh, etc.

Mr. Vu Ba Quy's students include brothers: Mr. Dieu, Mr. Dung, etc.

In 1955, Master Te Cong went to the South and taught a number of other students in Cho Lon such as: Luc Vien Khai, Ho Hai Long, Do Ba Vinh, Nguyen Ba Kha, etc. Master Ly Huynh Yen is now the
