SOME THINGS TO CHAT ABOUT MEDITATION

As everyone knows, I am a Wing Chun internal martial arts teacher, not a Zen practitioner.
Someone also asked me and advised me to practice Zen according to the Zen method that is widely popular today for practitioners and Buddhists, which is Vipassana Meditation.

Besides CONCENTRATION which is the first thing any Meditation method must achieve, monitoring BREATHING is an important thing that any Meditation method must do (the level of importance depends on the goal).
BODY ADJUSTMENT: is to adjust posture (sitting, standing, lying, walking) before meditating.
CONDITION: is to monitor the breath, the higher level is to control the breath (TIT TUC), to guide the breath (to guide the air) according to your will to practice Zen, that is "controlling the air with intention".
CONDITIONING THE MIND: after achieving CONDITIONING THE BODY AND CONDITION, we will achieve a state of CONCENTRATION.
According to my knowledge and experience practicing Zen, I can confirm: the basic process of Zen (CONDITIONING THE BODY - CONDITIONING THE MEDITATION - CONDITIONING THE MIND) and the state of CONCENTRATION are mandatory for any person.
These are a few things that, to me, are very basic and important in practicing Zen, and I would like to sincerely share with you.
